Y Tu Mama Tambien is one of my FAVORITE movies in the world-- the director is just amazing. Alfonso Cuaron is also the same man who did Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, with which he infused a TON of under-the-radar sexuality, innuendo and implied metaphors, smut, you name it. (He described Remus Lupin as, I quote, "Your favourite gay uncle on smack.") I can't believe they let this guy direct a kid's movie. Watch it again now that you've seen Cuaron's masterpiece!
