Yeah. Mostly we were tryign to figure out why the sunrises and sunsets taht we experienced in different parts of the US were so different. I think that this idea of the greater extremes farther north does play a large role, but I think I was also kind of deceptive since I think of dawn as "when it starts getting light out", which isn't the same thing as when the sun actually comes up.

But yea, your information seems correct to me, too.
