My Buddhisminterest has recently been blossoming, and this passage made me think of a few things I've been reading and thinking about. Liberation from worldly suffering, to name one. Except permanent.

I've had a few of these sort of ecstatic, exploratory moments. It's curious that they always seem to be linked with travelling or walking great distances.

I'd kind of like to do this sort of thing with my life, completely. I'll probably end up doing it in Ireland, if anywhere, because I'd fit in a bit better there than in India.
