Maybe if you find out what her sense of humor is, and act on it, you can relate better. Ironically, I have recently discovered that it's not really me that's an asshole, it's some of the people who I think are my friends but have no sense of humor and so get offended when I crack a joke. Humorlessness is not a very favourable option, so we're all better off if they just lighten up. Who seriously has the intention of earnestly insulting their friends? Gah. I guess this is just me ranting a bit about something that happened earlier today.
I actually sort of miss Arlington. I never lived there, but I spent a good deal of time there, it being right next to Medford, my sister and cousin living there, and having friends etc. there. It's like a nice little berg (though that term be not completely accurate). Ho hum.
