Mar. 16th, 2006 11:39 pmHeh...I think my computer is dying from the stress of piracy. It's totally my fault, haha.
In other news, I'm totally indebted to my history teacher. He's given me until Monday to make up my exam, which means over the weekend I have to finish the book, write an essay for his class, and study for his test. BUt that's okay, since over the weekend I feel like I have some freedom to actually assess what I need to do, and do what needs to get done.
...But, on the same note, I Haaate my math teacher at the moment since he made such a difficult test *sob*...then again, I fell asleep while studying for it, it serves me right. I've also been really sleepy the past couple of days. Unable to really get rides, I've been walking home from school, and the added exertion, especially carrying the weight of books, does make a considerable difference in my already low energy.
I am sooo glad the weekend is so close, though. I am going to see Stephanie on Sunday morning; we're going out to breakfast, and if it's a nice day I -am- going to actually practice driving. I'm sick and tired of feeling so restricted, I need some reason to feel motivation to actually get out in my life again. Ride busses, ride the train...drive...I can't do any of it unless I actually try to gain back some ground. But yeah, I can't wait to see Stephanie... <3
It seems like none of my ideas are related today, but Anna recently IMed me and asked if I had heard from Aaron. It's true that I have not, and I didn't even notice until now how long it has been since I've heard from him. I don't think he's been absent from life for this long since he was working in the plastics factory, and I had to tell her that I have absolutely no idea how to contact him. Does anyone know anything about this? He left a message for me on my cell phone around my birthday-ish-time and left a number to a hotel room, but by the time I found the message and had time to call him, he had gone from there. Informations, if possessed, would be appreciated, since I'm curious and also would like to know what to tell Anna.
Meanwhile, the OTHER Anna has gotten me interested in Danish. It's strange, since of all the languages I've been interested in, Danish has never really been one of them. ONce she started telling me things, though, it became so interesting and now I'm so excited!! I don't know how much I'll be able to learn, but I'd like to see how much I can, and Anna is officially my most awesome person of the week--no, month, for agreeing to teach me some things. It doesn't seem too difficult; as far as I have been able to glean, it doesn't really conjugate verbs or decline nouns. There must be some strange quirks or other complicated stuff I haven't discovered yet, though--I can't wait to find out! I haven't felt this excited about a language in a long time, actually; I don't know what it is. I think it's the prospect of learning from something that isn't a website.
Anyway, yay! I have so much homework I should do tonight. I also should study for history or math. BUt I think I'm just going to finish 1984 and do my Latin lines. Ehehehee.
