Barack Obama Resigns From His Church

Barack Obama is resigning his membership in the Trinity
United Church of Christ in Chicago in the aftermath of
controversies over sermons given at the church.

People are so vicious. There is NO REASON why he should have to do that. None.

Whoah.

So in an attempt to fight rising prices, I bought my plane ticket to Arizona today. For August, when I go to school. And since I have no idea when I might be coming back in the winter, if at all, I got a one-way ticket.

And...I know it's really lame and everything, but that feels so...symbolic, buying a one-way ticket to someplace. I've never ever gotten one before, cause I've never been in anyplace for long enough, and it's always been a going there for a little while then coming back deal.

I mean I know I'm coming back to Boston. Duh. I live here. But the one-way ticket still manages to leave me with a feeling of...

...I dunno really, but it makes me feel adventurous and even more excited than I already am. ^_^
