Today was basically characterized by lots of cleaning & organizing, a GORGEOUS Indian man who actually seemed interesting in talking to me, and, well, men's gymnastics. That's why I'm still awake--they were showing the men's all-around competition and it's just SO intense and the events are so crazy that I was basically completely hooked...so hooked, in fact, that I couldn't bear to take a break, even though my head is and has been spinning since I'm not used to watching TV for more than an hour straight. The athletes are simply too amazing.
In my own life, I am basically done cleaning out my room. Does anyone need or want a black velvet cushion chair? Like, a big-ass pillow with a fold up stand. Or...a computer desk? Anyone need one? It has a roll out keyboard tray and various little compartments underneath that are really convenient for printers, scanners, and what have you. Does anyone even know anyone else who might want something like these things?
I still have to pack, but that shouldn't be difficult at all now that everything is organized.
My aunt and her newborn are visiting from California, as well as my fabulous gay uncle and his partner. The three of them, as well as my other uncle and my mom are all going for an overnight trip to Martha's Vineyard early next morning, so mom is taking our car and I have to take the 87 to work for the next two days. It is some pretty fabulous fail.
I almost actually feel ready to go to AZ. I wonder if I'll have everything done in time...I really hope I will.
