Instead I'm trying to keep things moving forwards in my life. I bought a rock gym membership on Friday, and have used it twice so far. I checked my payment status on the net, and after this week I think I did indeed pay off all of it. So basically all of the work I've done so far has gone towards my all climbing for the next year, and from here on out the money is offsetting my living expenses. I am pleased. Rock climbing is very worth the work. I also signed up for direct deposit, which is AWESOME.
This week, my goals are to
a) survive
b) do decently on the tests and papers coming up
c) vote (they let you do it ahead of time, just for ease on the university)
d) talk to advisers about Guatemala, AND my honors status in graduation (since none of my honors-ness transferred and I need x honors classes to graduate with honors), AND my do-it-yourself alternative energy minor.
e) not miss any classes or any work shifts
f) go climbing at LEAST once
I emailed the advisers about the various things, and so hopefully I'll get appointments and be ready to register in the next couple of weeks when that starts.
I'm not sure if I feel productive or not. I haven't really studied for my midterms on Wednesday, nor even started my paper for weather and climate which is due tomorrow. I really ought to just do it. Inspiration, take me now!
...'Cause all these plans for figuring out next semester and the following year will be kind of bunk if I fail my 101 level NATS.
I've also decided that when the midterm frenzy calms down, I'm going to dye my hair (with the hairdye I bought WEEKS ago), and do free hugs. I CAN MAKE IT.
