Uhmmm other classes were interesting. English seems like it might actually be enjoyable? o.O; The professor is really perky and friendly and engaging and just seems like a really good person to be an English teacher. But, I have to go buy books. Bah. She also made us write a short essay at the end of class, and mine turned out terrible since I decided to pick a complex prompt (about what it means to "receive an education"...and I have lots of ideas about that one..). My brain was awhirl so the organization was off. Oh well. Also, this cute guy sat next to me and we had a short conversation beforehand...haha. :P

Global warming class is going to be terrible, I think. The professor is very old, (like, very), and he has a funny accent that makes it hard to pay attention. I was not enheartened by the fact that he spent at least 20 minutes of class time talking about how he hates newfangled technology since it's made to save time but it actually wastes time. He wasted so much time complaining about wasting time! And he busted out the yellowed, blurry overhead projector and spent at least 5-10 more minutes preaching about how it was a much better teaching tool than the computer projector that most other people use. Eegh. Another annoyance was that he pulled up an article (on the projector) from the Wall Street Journal and was going through it, saying that we can't just trust any article we read and he went through and pointed out which statements were true and which weren't. But, he gave no backup or reason why we should trust *his* information more. Fun. I hope that it gets better, though...I really do.

After that I went climbing. Am trying to go very often. Arms hurt a lot. But getting stronger ;)

Aaand yeah, homework now -_-;
