Uhm, hi

Past 2 weeks in a nutshell: (also, written super super fast, so sorry for nonsense/typos..)

-CIRMites went to the Petén! 3 days, ~30 hours in a bus, a whole day of climbing Mayan temples. I was fairly sick the entire time and it was amazing EVEN SO.
-We have decided that John Way is Dumbledore. Maybe more on this later.
-Sara and Heather got out of their terrible homestay and Sara lives with us now. We talk in Spanish all the time and it is so awesome. I <3 my new roomie :3
-I really enjoy working for the archive, and I enjoy working for the biblioteca even more.
-I don't think I've ever been so full of ideas, or had so many things that I wanted to do at the SAME TIME. Oh my god there is not enough time in the world for all the thinking/reading/research/studying I want to do.
-Speaking of research, a bunch of CIRMites have promised to partner with a bunch of representatives of emisoras de radio comunitaria, and I might be starting term paper work on community perceptions of development/water scarcity/loss of indigenous language
-I wanna take a class on chapinismos SO BAD. So bad.

-Salsa dancing is so amazingly fun. I'm shit at it, but w/e
-Tomorrow: San Antonio Aguas Calientes; Sunday: Chichicastenango! So much traveling...did I mention that there isn't enough time to do everything I wanna do? Also, potentially all of next weekend at Quetzaltenago, and hopefully San José, Costa Rica over spring break <3
-o shit I'm almost 22
