I FINISHED MY LAST TRANSIT ASSIGNMENT!!

I had been working on it for two days. I designed myself a whole bus schedule and determined which bus would leave from which point at which time and calculated layover times to line up for different headways at peak/non-peak times in order to produce the least idle buses and IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Hit a few speedbumps when I had to schedule crew hours--all sorts of union agreements require you to give breaks every once in awhile and for some stupid reason you can't just leave buses unattended...*sigh*, but in the end, I did the best I could. I can see why people pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for software that'll crunch these variables and optimize it for you, though. I think my mind will be spinning for days, but it's DONE. And since my Spanish professor hasn't posted our essay exam yet, I have nothing to do until she does so.

In not so pleasant news: my health is getting worse again. It's a pattern that cannot be ignored any longer--I've been losing my appetite for days at a time again, having fewer good days, and getting more withdrawn even as I struggle to keep myself free. I'm kind of scared :\. Just taking one day at a time. There's really not much else I can do.

Tonight Andres and I are going to make little Santa hats for our ghoulies. Around Halloween Andres bought 8 little hanging creatures (6 ghosts, two mini-Deaths), and pegged them up all around our living room. They haven't come down yet--I don't think they ever will. He had the brilliant idea of getting little Santa hats for them--but apparently, Santa hats for dolls are all but impossible to find (they didn't even have them at Michael's). Happily, Michael's DID have mini stockings for super cheap, so we got a bunch and are going to turn them into santa hats: attach pom-poms and such. I think they'll be cute. :)

Happy end of the semester, everyone <3 Also, Maria or Ray, if you're reading this, thank you for a lovely night of distraction. I hope I get to see you again before everybody leaves. :)
