Reasons to be happy:
1. Hugh lent me his spare laptop for the summer, so I can resume my former lifestyle of wasting all my time on the internet and not sleeping at all 8D
2. I bit the bullet and took time off from work to go back to Northeastern and get the signatures required to withdraw. Despite the expected NEU wtfery (the secretary was gone for like 45 minutes for lunch without a stand-in), it went decently smoothly and I don't even care because now it's finally done. I feel irrationally relieved, and sort of unshackled in some strange way. Not like Northeastern was really a noose around my neck or anything, it just soaked up a lot of energy and time and effort. But all *should* be well now.
3. I have housing for next year...I got a room confirmed and reserved. I just have to choose which one I want, which I will apparently do on the 8th when I go down.
4. I have walked home from Davis Square 3 days in a row, which is a nice relaxing, satisfying cap to a long, hard day, and it's comforting how 2 miles isn't actually that long of a walk. Considering my housing will be 1.9 miles from school (according to google maps) and Davis Square is supposedly 2.2 miles from my house, I am enheartened. Also, it feels healthy, and it's an excuse to enjoy the nice weather and sunshine. Everything has become so green.
5. Calvin is moving back to MA for good at the beginning of August, which changes the prospects of my hanging out with him from "never" to "maybe once in a very long while". Nice :D
6. It's Friday, and I've survived another week working at the Annex.
9 days til Tucson. I think I can make it.
