Whooa shiiny
Mar. 10th, 2006 05:57 pmSo I stayed home for an entire week...I don't think I've ever done that before. o.O; Four days, maybe, but...
It's like a mini vacation only it doesn't feel like it at all. I don't think I've had a less productive week in my life. Go figure.
So a couple of delirium-induced ideas...
How do they make apple juice? I mean, with orange juice and lemonade it's pretty straightforward, because they have those things that you can buy and use at home. But it wouldn't be a very good idea to push an apple into a citrus juicer. I can't imagine much juice would actually result, either. Maybe I just don't eat juicy enough apples, or something.
...But on the same note...cranberries? Really, that mustn't have an easy solution.
I also think that Spanish soap operas are the perfect balance, if you're trying to learn Spanish. Uhm. Coherence. What I mean is that melodrama in English is so terribly overacted and disgustingly fake that even if you find yourself drawn into some shows, your better sense rebels. If you're watching it in Spanish, it's just perfect, since I personally can't pick up enough of the dialogue to get how totally stupid it surely is, and with the focus more on -actually picking up words- rather than just staring blankly at the TV, it's a lot more interesting and less painfully pointless.
Not to mention the abundance of pretty Hispanic peoples.
Aaanyway. I think I need an exorcism. Or some antibodies. Yeah...that'd be nice.
