My Life in Color
Jul. 11th, 2008 12:30 amFor those people who have dyed hair/have dyed their hair in the past...is it just me, or do strangers seriously like...start to see you in ways they never did?
Today, three random people talked to me. I walked over into Boston at lunchtime since it was just too gorgeous not to, and near Hynes a group of French girls asked me where I could catch the 1. Not more than 15 minutes later, a man stopped me to ask for the time. Nothing really extraordinary, I know, but like...I am only asked stuff like that by strangers maybe once a month, if that, and it's normally only when there is nobody else around. Both encounters in Boston were like...surrounded by other pedestrians, and both times they singled *me* out. It cannot believe that this is just a coincidence, and the only thing that is different about today is that I now have hair that is bright red. It's SO WEIRD, it's like I'm on the map now, like I exist to other people in a way that I never did before. It's definitely novel, but to be honest I'm not really sure how much I like it. Hmm.

And anyway, wow this entry has gotten seriously long, but I needed to write it anyway. I feel like I have been thinking about a lot of things recently, but the more I reflect the more confused I become. At the moment, though, that doesn't really bother me.
That said, I think it's time to at least make an effort to get more than 2 hours of sleep before work for once. A lovely night to all <3
