veranito infinito
Jul. 9th, 2010 09:00 pmI really haven't been sure what to post about recently, which seems a little ridiculous considering that a lot has been going on.
( Summer Update )
In more forward-looking or practical news, I've decided I'm rooming with Andres next semester--a choice of dubious wisdom, but it's my best bet right now. Putting aside our ambiguous status of friends or something more complicated, there is a decent list of advantages to this arrangement. I will have my own separate and lockable bed and bathroom, it's $425 per month with everything included, the place is well-located to campus, and I'll have a roommate I know and an apartment whose shitty quality I'm at least familiar with. And if I continue to be dying or get worse, it's nice to know I have someone nearby who could, idk, take me to the hospital or something.
I'm kind of intimidated by the idea of trying to deal with classes (and presumably a part time job) in the current state I'm in, but I have no choice but to be optimistic. If anything, Arizona will be a nice change of pace, and if it turns out to be an unfortunate one, then I'll be able to look back on this summer with the fondness and nostalgia evoked by happier times.
Also, randomly, I restrung my guitar the other day. It is now officially suitable for playing. I'm not sure what the result of that might be. If anything.
PS. If the stars are properly aligned, I might get lunch with Andrecita from CIRMA tomorrow! I *really* hope we can work it out--the excitement of this prospect is honestly a little too overwhelming to describe. :3 :3 :3
