I was just awoken by the Medford fireworks display just across the river. The view from my window would be basically ideal to watch it except that it's obscured by the tree in our neighbor's yard.

I can see cars going by on the parkway and they look like they are fording through the thickest fog...it must be the smoke from the nearby display wafting across their paths.

Man, I feel so ill. I want to go back to my nap. It seems stupid to be thinking of sleep at a time like this, but my mind is such a painful blur. So much for being on top of this language challenge...I don't think there's any Russian in my future for tonight.

It mostly just annoys me because I'm not sure if this is coming from PMS, nerves, or an actual virus. I bet it's a mix of the three, actually...

I hope everyone else is enjoying their 4th of July and respective fireworks displays :)
