YAAAAY EMPLOYMENT!

I GOT A JOB. It is a sort of shitty fast-food working on a sandwich line job, but omg I so do not care. I am so excited. I start Wendesday! They gave me my uniform. :)

It only took an entire month of rabid applications, but I got one <3 and there is a cute guy who works there too, so I'm happy.

I did the calculations out, and working for a month at this job I will earn enough money for a year-long membership at the rock gym. <3

Aaand if everything goes okay, I will be climbing tomorrow afternoon, which is exciting since I didn't get to go last week.

Oh man, I'm so happy. :)

What kind of a rock gym is it?
I went to a place a few years ago with a youth group and it was pretty fun.
Just a bit hot and stuffy at the top. Bleh!

Yeah, getting work is a biiiitch but just keep at it, you'll get something <3

It's just a typical rock gym, it seems to have all the fixings...normal top-rope climbing, leading (where you clip as you go), and bouldering, which is like really advanced technical climbs where you work your body to death but don't actually go that high. But yeah--it's pretty big, and seems pretty standard. I love rock gyms. But I know what you mean omg o.O I hate when there's no ventilation at the top. Though trying to make the final few moves with a huge wind blowing in your face isn't too awesome, either. [/dork]
