Aside that, it's been a decent day. I no longer work Friday nights!!! Thank GOD. Also, having grown accustomed to closing shifts, or to having to dick about for 5+ hours on Saturday and Sunday, my 3 hour Monday shift feels like a drop in the bucket and positively flies by. When I was finished today I could scarcely believe it. Like...wait, I can go now? I'm really done? ...Really? And when I went out to go get my bike it was still brightish out, like an early twilight, so I *know* that by the time the semester is over I'll be heading home on Mondays in daylight. It is a positively glorious feeling.
The only major annoyance is the laundry that I have to wash a second time, since it emerged from the dryer last night smelling like water mold. The odor was so intense it even overpowered the off-putting lemon tide smell that usually reigns over everything following a wash. Ew. What a waste. I think I will be using a different set of machines from now on, even if it means walking all the way around the complex. Guacala! I think laundry is easily my least favorite chore.
