arrowwhiskersSo Katie and I went to see the Epoxies tonight, and it was great.
The starter bands were awesome, and the first one's amp caught on fire when they were playing. But the thing is--they sucked it up and kept at it. That's totally the attitude I love...shit happens...get over it, fucking ROCK anyway. So. Metal. They were really cute, too. ^.^ ANd apparently they discovered that the reason for the fire was due to one of the cables inside the amp being clipped. Sabotage..? Maybe. I felt sort of bad cause I admitted I hadn't bought any merchandise, but really--they weren't THAT good. Just cute and with awesome attitudes, haha. There was also a little yaoi subtext. *snerk.*
The second band was nondescript...but the Phenomenauts were just as spazzy and awesome as I rememebered--LIGHTS AND TOILET PAPER WHUT. ANd then naturally, the Epoxies. I haven't spaz danced as much since...well, the prom. It was a time. I sort of want to learn how to dance better since I felt so lame and random compared to the flock of dancers who clearly knew what they were doing.
But...on a very different and much angstier note...I'm trying SO hard to face my fears...and get over them...so hard. And to some level I might be, but not much--and if I am, then why does my throat keep choking up? Why do my eyes feel like the slightest provocation could start tears welling? I am SUCH a sissy and the medicine ISN'T working. I think I need to work a little harder on not being such a coward.
Buuuuut anyway...now my ears are broken and a half, there are black crosses on my hand that probably won't come off for a week, and I'm absolutely drenched in half-dry sweat. I think a fucking shower is in order; thank you and good night. ;3

yeah, those black crosses arn't coming off either. Soap, shower, rubbing alcohol, nothing worked XD.
