Wow, summer.
Jun. 25th, 2005 09:36 pm>.> It's too hot out, but that doesn't matter. Freedom...sort of. I have work on Monday, but that restricts my life differently than school does, and it provides me with money so it's all good. ^_^
I can't seem to come to grips with the fact that I've finished 11th grade. In the middle of the winter, when I was out sick for a week at a time, and having a hard time coming to school 5 days in a row, I was seriously beginning to wonder if I was going to make it...I think it was the longest year of my life, next to 7th grade. -.-;; ugh. I'm just so glad that it's over. Maybe the fall will be a new start...and with better classes, for sure! Nyarhar.
I still haven't picked up my room from the junkheap it regressed into during finals. It's a whirlwind of stuff, and while I really ought to clean it, there's almost something comforting in all my junk strewn everywhere, where I can see it. Guitars covering different areas of the floor; manga, in Japanese and English both, spread everywhere...drawings lying around...dictionaries of all sorts of languages stowed in the oddest places...video game cartridges and old school papers littering the floor... and how'd my tablet get over THERE? >.>;; It will be fun to clean up, once it cools off a little bit.
Today was useless because of the heat; I went to Sasuga with Katie and Carol and as soon as we left the car it was like FOOM, an anvil of heat smacking the back of your head. The wind was scorching hot, and entirely unhelpful. It was very good to spend an hour in a cold basement looking at Japanese books. ^o^ I didn't have any money left, but I can't wait to return once I've gotten my first paycheck. Once I pay off half of my driver's ed fees, all I earn is mine to spend. I'm also still paying my parents back for my guitar, but that's coming out of my allowance, so it's all good. Yei~
It should be noted that Scott plans to visit this summer, in August. Tentative date for his arrival is the 5th, and he'll be staying for a long weekend. So keep those dates open if you want to perchance hang out with us. We'll probably spend most of the time that he's here exploring Cambridge/Boston anyway, so yea. And at home, RPing. We just started a new RP today, and I had forgotten how fun it is. Anyone reading this want to be in the RP? Even if you've never done it before you're welcome, and I or anyone else would gladly explain how it works. If you just want to read the RP, and not add to it, then that's cool too; just ask me. ^_^
I'm also happy because of how much drawing inspiration I've had recently. ^__^ At Sasuga my hands were like twitching, since everything I saw made me want to draw so badly. So as soon as I got home I drew a couple of pretty good things, though I'm annoyed by my lack of prowess at backgrounds. I opened up my Sheezyart to art trades, and I already have two projects...very pleased. I love my colored pencils, but should probably get back into the habit of using my tablet, unless I get an oppurtunity to lend it to Matty. *nodnods*
Now I'm going to copy Elizabeth and make a plan for my summer, just because.

I hope everyone's summer is going absolutely wonderfully so far~it would be terrible if it was only a day in and sucked already.
